<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe with an olefinic resin socket capable of making socket melting connection with less dead space and having better out-of-roundness of the socket and shorter melting connection time. <P>SOLUTION: The pipe 1 with a socket has the socket formed for socket melting connection by secondary processing for expanding in diameter after an end portion of the olefinic resin pipe is heatedly softened.
