<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size and weight of the whole of an automatic opening/closing device by improving a clutch mechanism of the automatic opening/closing device for a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A trunk lid 12 is connected to an oscillating arm 44 of an electric actuator 17 through a connection arm 18, and opened/closed by oscillation of the oscillating arm 44. The oscillating arm 44 is relatively rotatably mounted to an output shaft 24 rotated and driven by an electric motor 21. A play part 51 positioning between an opening side engaging part 47 and a closing side engaging part 48 is formed at the base end part 45. An output pin 43 disposed at the play part 51 is fixed to the output shaft 24 through a plate member 42. When the output shaft 24 is rotated, the output pin 43 drives the oscillating arm 44 to the opening direction by engaging with the opening side engaging part 47, and drives the oscillating arm 44 to the closing direction by engaging with the closing side engaging part 48. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
