FIELD: mechanics. ^ SUBSTANCE: overrunning safety clutch incorporates an inner and outer half-couplings. The inner half-coupling is furnished with wedge-like cavities formed by recesses housing rollers or balls and with a splined section. The said half-coupling lower part is thread-jointed to the rod column, its upper part being spline-coupled with the reciprocating pressure cap with its LH threaded joint interacting with the outer half-coupling. The aforesaid overrunning safety clutch has a casing with its inner surface accommodating the drive throw-out device clutch so that to allow the pressure cap to act on the said surface in the clutch operation. ^ EFFECT: higher performances. ^ 6 cl, 12 dwg
