METHOD FOR STABILIZING DIGITAL IMAGE WHICH CAN CORRECT THE HORIZONTAL SHEAR DISTORTION AND VERTICAL SCALE DISTORTION

A digital image stabilizing method capable of correcting horizontal shear distortion and vertical scale distortion is provided to correct a change of image motion and image distortion when an image is shaken by motion such as the hand-shaking of a user, thereby photographing an optimized image even when the user photographs an object in the inside of a mobile space. A digital image stabilizing method comprises the following steps of: extracting specific points from a current frame(S315); matching the specific points extracted from the current frame to specific points extracted from a previous frame(S320); detecting and removing an outlier from the matched specific points(S325); calculating homography using the specific points from which the outlier is eliminated(S330); and correcting the current frame using the calculated homography(S345).
