PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boundary sensor installable over a wide range and capable of easily specifying a passage position at low cost. SOLUTION: The boundary sensor 1 is provided with an elastically deformable sensor main body 2 having elastomer and spherical conductive filler, which is mixed in a substantially single-particle state with a high fill factor in the elastomer, and increases electric resistance along with increase of a deformation quantity, and an electrode 3 connected to the sensor main body 2 and capable of outputting the electric resistance. The boundary sensor 1 is installed outdoors in the vicinity of a boundary, across which passage without permission is prohibited. The boundary sensor 1 can detects passage across the boundary based on change in the electric resistance due to deformation of the sensor main body 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
