<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a stick for mallet golf which can absorb and mitigate vibrations transmitted to a shaft from a head when a golfer strokes a ball with the stick and provides a comfortable feeling of a stroke. <P>SOLUTION: The stick (1) for mallet golf has the shaft (2) having a grip (4) and a cylindrical metal head (3). The head (3) is attached to the tip portion (2a) of the shaft (2) which is opposite to the grip (4) and has a hollow portion (5) behind a stroking surface (11) to stroke a ball (8). A cylindrical metal shaft support (13) into which the tip portion (2a) of the shaft (2) is inserted along the direction intersecting the axis of the head (3) at right angles is fixed to the hollow portion (5) of the head (3).
