<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion conductive material such as an ion conductive composition showing ion conductivity in a wide temperature range including a middle and high temperature range exceeding 100°C and an ion conductive membrane composed of the above composition. <P>SOLUTION: The ion conductive material is composed of an ion conductive composition, which contains ion conductive polymer and an ion conductive inorganic solid material. The iron conductive inorganic solid material is preferably a metal phosphate of which the part of a metal element is substituted by a doping element J (herein, J stands for one or more of elements selected from a group consisting of elements in the long period type periodic table Group 3A and Group 3B).
