<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing capable of preventing leakage of a lubricant or remaining of the lubricant in a lower part of a sealing member even in an environment wherein vibration is generated or under a high speed rotation condition, and capable of maintaining lubricating performance for a long time in a rolling bearing equipped with the sealing member without a weir. <P>SOLUTION: The rolling bearing 1 is provided with an inner ring 2, an outer ring 3, a plurality of rolling elements 4 arranged between the inner and the outer rings, a retainer 5 retaining the rolling elements 4, and the sealing member 6 protruding from both end surfaces of the inner ring 2 and the outer ring 3 in a U-shaped cross sectional shape and sealing the bearing both end parts, and a porous solid lubricant 7 is enclosed in an inner space of the sealing member 6, which essentially contains a lubricant ingredient and a resin ingredient and is a solid matter having porosity imparted thereto by foaming and curing the resin ingredient. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
