<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system in which a voltage drop speed of a fuel cell is determined, at a time of conducting treatment for activating catalyst in a fuel cell, in accordance with an acceptance capacity of an accepting object of an excessive power generated in the fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: When an output voltage of the fuel cell 2 is lowered and treatment for activating catalyst is conducted during an intermittent operation of a fuel cell 2, if a generated power P1 exceeds a battery charge allowable power Pp and a generated power P2 does not exceed the battery charge allowable power Pp, a lowered speed VS2 corresponding to the generated power P2 is selected, and in accordance with the selected lowered speed VS2, the output voltage of the fuel cell 2 is lowered toward a target voltage V1, and a rapid generation of excessive power accompanying a drop of the output voltage of the fuel cell 2 is controlled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
