PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holder for control strip that can easily and smoothly insert a sheet type control strip and can securely prevent the stored control strip from being exposed to light. SOLUTION: The holder for control strip is provided with a pair of light shield bodies being each other in close contact with an opening part where the control strip is put in and out, and at least one shield body is configured to rotate on a predetermined axis extending almost at right angles to a direction wherein the control strip is put in and out and also configured to move to and away from the other light shield body in contacting and leaving directions. Further, it is provided with: an energizing means of energizing one light shield body toward the other light shield body to bring the light shield bodies into contact with each other; and an operation means operative to press one light shield body away from the other light shield body in the leaving direction directly or indirectly from outside.
