USE OF AN UNSAPONIFIABLE EXTRACT OF PLANT PULP IN THE TREATMENT OF SKIN AGEING

#CMT# #/CMT# Use of an unsaponifiable vegetable pulp extract comprising a triterpenic fraction containing erythrodiol (7-40 wt.%), alpha -amyrine, beta -amyrine and lupeol, for the preparation of cosmetic, medicinal or nutraceutic product to prevent and/or to treat cutaneous disorders associated with cutaneous aging. #CMT#ACTIVITY : #/CMT# Dermatological. #CMT#MECHANISM OF ACTION : #/CMT# Heat shock protein-72 (HSP72) inducer. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Use of an unsaponifiable extract of vegetable pulp to treat cutaneous disorders that appear by deteriorations of texture color or transparency of the skin and by the appearance of wrinkles and result in a reduction or loss of response to the environmental stress such as caused by sun or tobacco, or in a reduction or a loss of inductibility of HSP72 proteins (claimed). The ability of the unsaponifiable vegetable pulp extract to induce HSP72 protein, was tested in human fibroblast cell line. The result showed that the unsaponifiable argan fruit pulp extract at 3 mu g/ml, induced the HSP72 expression to 98.1%. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The extract allows anti-aging treatment at reasonable cost using fruit pulps and requires no additional purification stage that is very expensive. #CMT#BIOLOGY : #/CMT# Preferred Components: The mass fraction of beta -amyrine is 5-30%. The sum of mass fractions of alpha -amyrine and lupeol is 10-50%. The quantity of extract in the final cosmetic product is 0.001-50 wt.%, preferably 0.1-2 wt.%.
