A device and a method for providing a user interface are provided to enable a user to receive more than two desired user interfaces conveniently by receiving a predetermined user touch on a display unit and enable the user to adjust a ratio of each user interface in a screen. A display unit(110) inputs a contact point outputting a touch signal by a user touch. A locus recognizer(120) recognizes a touch locus on the display unit by receiving the touch signal. A locus database(130) stores an ID corresponding to each touch locus. A controller(150) drives the user interface corresponding to the ID. A user interface database(140) stores/manages the user interfaces matched with the ID. The display unit displays a screen corresponding to the user interface. The touch signal includes at least one of coordinate and ID information of the touch point. The locus recognizer recognizes the touch locus by using the coordinate or ID information of the touch point.
