EMULSION, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL USING IT

An emulsion, a method for manufacturing the same, and a method for manufacturing a plasma display panel are provided to reduce a loss in an MgO slice by using an MgO emulsion. An emulsion contains magnesium oxide solution, kerosene(310), and a surfactant. The magnesium oxide solution includes droplets(300') with a size between 1 and 10 micrometers. A size of magnesium oxide lies between 1 and 100 nanometers in the magnesium oxide solution. The magnesium oxide solution and the kerosene are mixed at a predetermined ratio. The surfactant is added to the mixture of the magnesium oxide and the kerosene, and the result is rotated at a speed higher than 8000 rpm. The ratio between the magnesium oxide and the kerosene are mixed at a ratio between 3:7 and 5:5.
