PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a e-commerce method with high security. SOLUTION: A control center 1 has a card database 11 which stores a password used every transaction and balance information correspondingly about a card ID of each prepaid card 9. A card control part 13 of the control center 1 checks whether a password contained in a settlement request is identical to the password for transaction stored in the database 11 or not according to the settlement request containing the card ID, password, and amount of the transaction from a server for selling over the Internet 5 or a store terminal 7. When the password is identical, the balance is checked. When the balance is over the amount of the transaction, the balance information is updated based on the amount of the transaction. |
