<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat angle adjusting device having an unlocking cam, a locking cam, sliders having slider teeth, a ratchet having ratchet teeth, a coulisse having a groove, a return spring, a central shaft and a jacket, connecting the unlocking cam having the thickness thinner than that of the locking cam, the locking cam, the ratchet, the coulisse and the return spring to the central shaft, connecting the locking cam to the unlocking cam, connecting the sliders to the unlocking cam and grooves, connecting the jacket to the ratchet and the coulisse, and connecting the return spring to the coulisse. <P>SOLUTION: The unlocking cam having the thickness thinner than that of the locking cam, the locking cam, the ratchet, the coulisse and the return spring are connected to a central shaft; the locking cam is connected to the unlocking cam; the sliders are connected to the unlocking cam and the grooves; the jacket is connected to the ratchet and the coulisse; and the return spring is connected to the coulisse. The thicknesses of the locking cam and the unlocking cam is adapted to be designed according to the intensities of forces which the both cams can receive. The locking cam and the unlocking cam are individually manufactured so that the structures of dies are greatly simplified to elongate the service life of the dies, satisfy the conditions of pressing and improve the production efficiency.
