摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a barrier mechanism which allows a large aperture to be obtained in a small installation area and suppresses the increase of dimensions in an optical axis direction and complication of a configuration due to the increase in the number of barrier blades and properly and surely protects an optical system and a lens barrel and has a simple configuration to hardly bring about problems on operation and allows the lens barrel to be miniaturized, and a camera and a personal digital assistance which use the barrier mechanism. SOLUTION: The barrier mechanism 1 is disposed in front of an optical lens and has respective barrier blades of barrier blade groups G1 and G2 rotationally put into an effective optical path of the optical lens to enter into a barrier close state of shielding the effective optical path to protect the optical lens and has respective barrier blades of the barrier blade groups rotationally retreated out of the effective optical path of the optical lens to enter into a barrier open state of opening the effective optical path. The barrier blade groups have combinations of metallic barrier blades A1 and A2, barrier blades B1 and B2 made of mold resin, and metallic barrier blades C1 and C2 arranged in order in the optical axis direction of the optical lens.
