A medium ejecting device and a medium processing device are provided to insert a sheet-like medium on a proper insertion position by inserting the sheet-like medium on a medium collision surface on a pressure member side. A sheet-like medium is inserted into a medium insertion portion(10), which is elongated from a bottom surface and defined by first and second side surfaces. A medium ejecting path(15) is formed in front of the medium insertion portion and guides a sheet-like medium in an ejecting direction. An inserting member(13) is arranged on the first side surface and inserts the sheet-like medium to the medium ejecting path. A pressure member(14) is arranged on the second side surface and presses the sheet-like medium against the inserting member. A first guiding surface, which is elongated toward the first side surface, is formed on a front end of the second side surface. A second guiding surface is formed on the first guiding surface, such that the second guiding surface gradually gets closer to the medium ejecting path along the medium ejecting direction. A third guiding surface, which is slanted downward an upper edge of the first guiding surface, is formed between the first and second guiding surfaces.
