<p>A water-retentive concrete composition is provided to ensure improved workability, high strength, and high durability even without causing a decline in bending strength. A water-retentive concrete composition includes cement, particle size-controlled aggregate, a water-retentive additive, a water-absorptive polymer, a water-soluble polymer, and a high-performance water-reducing agent. The composition comprises 0.001-5 parts by weight of the highly water-absorptive polymer based on 100 parts by weight of the cement, 0.01-10 parts by weight of the water-soluble polymer based on 100 parts by weight of the cement, a 0.001-5 parts by weight of wet expansion retarder of the highly water-absorptive polymer such as dextrin, glycerin, or a mixture thereof based on 100 parts by weight of the highly water-absorptive polymer.</p> |
