FUNCTIONAL BEVERAGES COMPOSING GINSENG STEAMED RED CONCENTRATED SOLUTION

A functional drink containing red ginseng concentrates, oxygen-rich water and deep sea water is provided to secure excellent dispersity, mixing property and absorption property, to be rich in inorganic material and useful as a functional health food, particularly used as a drink for preventing and improving immune-related disease. A functional drink contains red ginseng concentrates, 12 to 150mg oxygen-rich water per a functional drink and deep sea water. The red ginseng concentrates are obtained by the steps of; heating red ginseng at 100 to 120deg.C; mixing purified water of 4 to 8 times mass of red ginseng and extracting at 80 to 95deg.C by an indirect steam heating method; sterilizing at 90 to 100deg.C; cooling at 0 to 10deg.C and centrifuging at 5,000 to 8,000rpm to remove impurities; concentrating by a low temperature vacuum concentration method of 55 to 65deg.C; and sieving with a sieve of No 100 to 140. The extraction is performed 5 to 8 times in a continuous tank or 2 to 5 times in a batch type tank. The red ginseng contains red ginseng root and the root hair of red ginseng in a ratio of 1:1 to 0.2. Deep sea water pumped from a depth of less than 200m below a sea level is diluted with 5 to 100 times their weight of purified water.
