An anti-theft device for an electronic-teaching desk and an anti-theft method thereof are provided to prevent tools from being removed from the electronic-teaching desk by monitoring a small current flowing through the tool and a contact node of the tool. A relay unit(110) supplies electrical power according to a predetermined sequence. A current unit(120) detects a magnitude of the current, which is supplied to respective paths. A path unit(130) adjusts a level of the current, which is detected for the paths and amplifies the level of the selected path. A controller(140) receives the detected current, analyzes the current, and outputs alarm information, when the analyzed result fails to be matched with a predetermined value. An alarm unit(150) receives the alarm signal from the controller and outputs at least one of a sequentially number, an alarm beep, and alarm light. A contact node(160) monitors a coupling state between tools using a magnetic switch and outputs the monitored result to the respective paths. A matching unit(170) receives the signal from the respective paths and applies the signal to the controller through the corresponding path. A selector(180) receives a command signal for selecting the signal from one of the matching unit and the paths. |
