<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording/reproducing apparatus which has shortened time required up to output of an image since the apparatus extends compressed image having been output once and stores by a full HD size, and when outputting the same image again, does not extend the compressed image but outputs the stored extended image. <P>SOLUTION: The image recording/reproducing apparatus extends stored compressed image data as full HD size data, and when the HD size data to be output as an image are stored in the apparatus itself, outputs the image by preferentially using the full HD size data independently of the storage of the compressed image data and still stores the full HD size data of the output image. Alternatively, the above image recording/reproducing apparatus further acquires the screen size information of a connected display apparatus, and when a screen size indicated by the screen size information is not the full HD size, resizes the full HD size data to be output as an image to the data of the screen size and outputs the resized data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
