PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair for shampoo, stably lifting a seat surface regardless of the seating position of a wheelchair user, allowing the wheelchair user to stably and comfortably receive the shampoo service in the reclining state with the seat surface lifted up, applying little stress for shampoo to a care taker, etc., and compactly stored with the reduced horizontal width when the wheelchair is folded in the cross direction. SOLUTION: A left or right side frame 2, connected in such a way as foldable, is composed of a main frame 20 with a rear wheel 12 and a subordinate frame 40 above the main fame, having the seat surface stretched to the left and right and a backrest 3 with a reclining mechanism 5. The wheelchair has a pair of left and right lifting devices 8. The operation shafts of the devices are connected to each other by a foldable connection operating member 14. The subordinate frame 40 is supported to the main frame 20 in such a way as can be lifted by the lifting devices 8 so that the height of the seat surface and the backrest 3 is suitable for shampoo.
