PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the leakage current of a solid-state electrolytic capacitor from increasing. SOLUTION: In a solid-state electrolytic capacitor comprising a planar metal foil having a dielectric oxide film formed on the surface, and a separating portion provided at a predetermined part on the surface of the metal foil and sectioning a valve metal foil into an anode portion and a cathode portion wherein a capacitor element having a solid-state electrolytic layer is provided at the cathode portion thus sectioned, burrs occurring on the cut end face at the cathode portion of the valve metal foil are set below 5μm and are coated with insulating resin.
