PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system in which a mobile station allocates resources without requiring a complicated configuration, even when a transmissible/receivable spectrum bandwidth of a mobile station is smaller than a spectrum bandwidth transmissible/receivable for a base station. SOLUTION: A base station BS determines an uplink radio resource to be allocated to a mobile station MS1 while taking into account downlink quality and the line allocation state and notifies the mobile station MS1 about a subcarrier block (frequency f+Δfi) of which the frequency is different from a frequency (f) of the radio resource just byΔfi as a downlink, and on the basis thereof, the mobile station MS1 starts reception in a resource block of frequency f+Δfi and performs transmission via the radio resource of the frequency (f).
