<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve productivity in one job and to construct a convenient and flexible print environment by dealing with requests as flexibly as possible even when the requests of various kinds of print jobs requiring various kinds of print media are accepted at the same time in a concentrated manner, and shortening the required time from printing start of one print job to its printing end. <P>SOLUTION: In a print system 1,000, a control unit 205 accepts an instruction to "regard productivity important".
