The invention relates to the foundry production. A method of manufacturing the double-pour roll includes manufacturing of an axle, its installation into the mould during molding of wear-resistant bandage, filling in the mould of metal, hardening, cooling the metal of bandage, reduction by bandage of axle and extraction of roll from the mould, moreover the wear-resistant bandage is produced by lost casting, a layer from porous refractory material is placed between the axle and bandage, and reduction by bandage of axle is carried out due to the casting shrinkage of bandage. The method provides for reduction of costs for production and repair of rolls. |
