A household food garbage disposer is provided to increase the degradation efficiency of food garbage by uniformly mixing food garbage with bio-chips uniformly, enable the disposer to be used in a kitchen or living room by preventing odor such as methane gas from leaking to the outside, and allow the disposer to check the degradation residual time during the degradation of food garbage. A household food garbage disposer(10) comprises: a chamber(30) of which a top part is opened, which has an outlet(30a) and an inlet(30b) formed on opposite sides thereof, and in which bio-chips(1) are filled; an agitation body(20) including a rotary shaft(22) of which both ends are axially installed on both side faces of the chamber such that the rotary shaft is freely rotated by bearings, and agitation vanes(24) formed on the rotary shaft; a motor(28) installed outside the chamber and operated by a power source to transmit rotary power to the agitation body; a deodorizing unit(70) for receiving air in the chamber via the outlet to remove odor from the air and exhaust the odor-removed air to the inlet; a housing(40) which is placed on an inner part of the chamber, and which has a catching projection(42) formed on an inner upper end thereof, and a cover(50) hinged to an upper end thereof, the cover being opened in the upward direction; and a guiding support(80) which is removably installed on the catching projection of the housing, which has a food garbage housing space, and to which a blocking plate is hinge-connected, wherein the blocking plate is opened when food garbage(2) is injected into the chamber while the blocking plate is moved to its original position and closed with the chamber when the injection of the food garbage is completed. |
