A wireless antenna for a TV set-top box is provided to transmit and receive a signal of a 5.15 to 5.85 GHz frequency band by controlling a size, a position, and a thickness of a U-shaped slot. A ceramic substrate(110) has a through hole at a center. A ground conductor is mounted on an upper surface of the ceramic substrate. A feed line is mounted on a lower surface of the ceramic substrate. A conductive via hole is connected to an end of the feed line and inserted into the through hole of the ceramic substrate. A ceramic patch(210) is mounted on the upper surface of the ceramic substrate and has a through hole at a center. A via hole is connected to the conductive via hole and inserted into the through hole of the ceramic patch. An antenna element is connected to the via hole and printed on an upper surface of the ceramic patch.
