PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constant excitation type automatic switch having a function which makes a designated automatic switch block at high speed by detecting a ground fault accident. SOLUTION: The switch 1 comprises a switch body 10, a delay open circuit 11 for making opening of the switch body delay after passing a designated time from the ground fault accident, and an operating circuit 12 of the switch body. A control power source 21 for supplying electric power from a power supply line is arranged on a switch sub-station 2, and control voltage acquired from the control power source 21 is supplied to the switch 1 and switch sub-station 2. Further, a switch-side manual switching means 13 and zero-phase current/zero-phase voltage detector 15 are arranged in the switch 1. A sub-station side delay open circuit 22, a first sub-station side switching means 23, a second sub-station side switching means 24, and a ground fault accident determination circuit 25 for opening first and second sub-station side switching means 23 and 24 when determining the ground fault by entering every output of the zero-phase current/zero-phase voltage detector 15 are arranged on the switch sub-station 2.
