PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To device an opening and closing mechanism of an inner lid not to make sealing ability unstable when a washing tub is pushed into the dishwasher body to seal an upper opening part of the washing tub with the inner lid. SOLUTION: This drawer type dishwasher includes: the dishwasher body 11; a washing tub 20 slid forward and backward to the body; the inner lid 30, the lower surface of which is provided with a packing 35 to open and close the washing tub; and the opening and closing mechanism for opening and closing the inner lid by the forward and backward sliding operation of the washing tub, wherein the opening and closing mechanism includes a push-down mechanism for applying downward force to the inner lid by the backward sliding operation of the washing tub; and a guide mechanism for guiding the inner lid while regulating the forward and backward movement of the inner lid, the push-down mechanism includes cam members 26, 27 and engagement members 32, 33, and at least the lower parts of the guide means 6, 7 of the guide mechanism are formed with a gradient to the sliding direction of the washing tub 20, whereby when the inner lid 30 closes the washing tub, the inner lid is moved backward while descending.
