A beverage cooling apparatus 10, for cooling beverages such as beer and soft drinks, comprises a frame 24, a beverage refrigeration unit 11, and shock absorbing supports 30 for supporting the beverage refrigeration unit upon or within the frame. Preferably, the shock absorbing supports also provide vibration reduction. Alternatively, vibration reduction may be provided by separate vibration reducing supports. The supports may either comprise a plurality of mounts upon which the beverage refrigeration unit is mounted or a plurality of support elements from which the beverage refrigeration unit is suspended within the frame. Preferably, the supports comprise closed cell foam, neoprene rubber, springs, or telescoping or piston shock absorbers. At least one pair of ground engageable wheels 31 may be provided, where the wheels are adapted to contact the ground only when the apparatus is in an inclined configuration. |
