An efficient antenna switching method, a pilot signal allocating method and a feedback signal transmitting method for the same are provided to improve performance by utilizing channel information of each transmitting antenna more accurately and reduce an additional switching frequency. In a method for performing antenna switching in a communication system using two or more transmitting antennas, the method comprises the following steps. Pilot signals are transmitted through the two or more transmitting antennas at predetermined multiple periods of an antenna selection period. Through a feedback signal received in response to the transmitted pilot signal, an antenna which will transmit data is selected from the two or more transmitting antennas at the antenna selection periods.
