A system and a method for tracing/managing notes with an RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) tag are provided to trace/manage the notes transferred among branches, a cash center, and a central bank by attaching an RFID chip to a roll tape for binding the notes and inputting information needed for classifying the notes to the RFID chip. A roll tape(10) includes an RFID chip(20) for storing detail bundle information including an RFID number, a type of classified notes, an amount, a classification worker, place, and date/time, and binds notes in each bundle(30). A binder binds the notes with the roll tape. An RFID receiver receives data from the RFID chip of the roll tape binding the notes. A processing unit receives or stores the data related to note classification to the RFID chip by receiving the data stored in the RFID chip from the RFID receiver. The processing unit includes a processor for storing the data to the RFID chip, and reading and comparing the data stored in the RFID tag with the previously stored data. |
