PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install a drive part of a wheelchair at an easy-to-operate position, and facilitate getting in/out or transfer between a bed and a toilet, for example. SOLUTION: The device is composed of the drive part 1, comprising a pair of drive pulleys 8 and 9 disposed on a drive arm 3 at a specific interval, a transmission pulley 5 installed coaxially with an axle 12 of drive wheels of the wheelchair, a drive belt 2 stretched between the drive pulleys 8 and 9, and a transmission belt 4 engaged in a groove provided in a width direction middle part of the drive belt, and stretched between the drive pulleys 8 and 9 and the transmission pulley 5.
