METHOD AND MACHINE FOR CLEANING ROLLED PRODUCT

The invention relates to a method and machine for cleaning continuous and limited length rolled products, wherein the inventive method is carried out by means of a centrifugal shot layer and consists in positively displacing a rolled product through two oppositely flowing centrifugally moving shot layers in which the shots are cone-shaped and the large diameters of which are oriented towards each other, in forming a processing vortex flow between the shots and in continuously removing a part of metallic shots and waste metal particles therefrom. The inventive machine for carrying out said method for cleaning continuous rolled products comprises a body consisting of two interconnected cylinders (12, 13), each of which (21, 22) is provided with a cone chamber (6) and a similarly-shaped right chamber (7) which are arranged therein in such a way that the large diameters are oriented to each other and a fixed chamber (5) is formed therebetween. The chambers (6, 7) are independently actuatable in the opposite directions at variable speeds. The variants of a machine for cleaning limited length rolled products and a multistation machine for cleaning several pieces of rod material are also disclosed.
