<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a papermaking device for used paper recycling apparatus small enough to be installed in a room of small shop or the like, friendly to the environment, low in running cost, and high in confidentiality. <P>SOLUTION: The papermaking device 3 includes a paper making section 50 for making wet paper from pulp suspension PS sent from a pulp making portion 2 in preceding step; the papermaking section 50 includes a papermaking conveyor 55 for making paper from the pulp suspension PS while being conveyed; the paper making conveyor 55 is composed of a mesh belt 60 of paper making mesh structure of numerous meshes for filtering and dewatering the pulp suspension PS disposed so as to run straight toward its running direction, and the length L of the paper making step in the mesh belt 60 is set in a range of the length in a straight running direction of the mesh belt 60 in the apparatus case 5 of furniture size.
