PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply system using a superconductive cable and a normal conductive power supply wire and capable of reducing a use amount of a superconductive material. SOLUTION: This power supply system is provided with transformation equipment 1 for transforming the received voltage, the normal conductive power supply wire (trolley wire 6) for supplying electric power to a predetermined load, and the superconductive cable 3 connected to the power supply wire and supplying electric power transformed by the transformation equipment 1 and output to the power supply wire through pulling out parts 4A-4C. In this power supply system, the superconductive cable 3 is preferably constituted to have smaller power feed capacity as being separated from the transformation equipment 1 in accordance with the distance from the transformation equipment 1 side to the pulling out parts 4A-4C.
