APPARATUS FOR MAKING SLUDGE FINE-GRAINED

An apparatus for forming sludge into fine particles is provided to form fine particles from sludge easily by effectively removing a viscous liquid material surrounding cell walls of the microorganisms from the cell walls even when raw water to be treated contains sludge coupled to microorganisms. An apparatus for forming sludge into fine particles comprises: an outer cylindrical member(10) which has a closed space part formed therein, and which extends in one direction; an inner cylindrical member(20) coaxially disposed within the outer cylindrical member; an intermediate cylindrical member(30) coaxially disposed between the outer cylindrical member and the inner cylindrical member; a first inlet(40) which is formed on one end of the outer cylindrical member to flow raw water to be treated containing sludge into a space between the outer cylindrical member and the intermediate cylindrical member, and which has an axial centerline disposed on a position thereof that does not encounter an axial centerline of the outer cylindrical member such that the raw water to be treated that has flown into the space between the outer cylindrical member and the intermediate cylindrical member rotates and flows between the outer cylindrical member and the intermediate cylindrical member; a second inlet(50) formed on the other end portion opposite to one end portion of the inner cylindrical member adjacent to the first inlet such that the raw water to be treated that has flown into the space between the outer cylindrical member and the intermediate cylindrical member through the first inlet flows from the other end side of the outer cylindrical member into a space between the intermediate cylindrical member and the inner cylindrical member; a third inlet(60) formed on an end portion of the inner cylindrical member adjacent to the first inlet such that the raw water to be treated that has flown into the space between the intermediate cylindrical member and the inner cylindrical member through the second inlet flows from one end side of the outer cylindrical member into the inner cylindrical member; and an outlet(70) formed on the other end portion of the inner cylindrical member opposite to an end portion of the inner cylindrical member on which the third inlet is formed such that the raw water to be treated that has flown into the inner cylindrical member through the third inlet flows from the other end side of the outer cylindrical member to the outside of the outer cylindrical member.
