<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote controller for easily performing operation of a keyboard or input operation of positional information, in the remote controller having the keyboard for inputting character information and a pointing device for inputting the positional information. <P>SOLUTION: In the remote controller 10, an operating key 11 for performing remote operation of a display device, the keyboard 16 for inputting character information on the picture, and the pointing device 15 for inputting the positional information are arranged on the operating surface.
