PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pair of stilts that can solve the problems in the bagging and/or harvesting of fruits such as apples, pears, persimmons, citrus fruits, although conventionally a stepladder has been used as the footing but they are not efficient and not safe, since the working range is small and the worker has to go up and down the ladder and change the position frequently sometimes causing fall. SOLUTION: The foot step 22 is set on the elevating outer cylinder 10 that is raised or lowered with a ball screw 12 that is driven with a brake-equipped geared motor 13 in order to permit the worker to easily ascend and descend during the working at a position higher than the height of the worker. The worker on the pair of stilt operates the operating buttons 4a, 4b, and can expand its vertical work range. Since the brake-equipped geared motor is driven with a battery 18, the pair of stilt can be operated at any position. The position moving is simply carried out by holding the ascend and descend outer cylinder 30 to lift up the foot step 22 and move the stilt.
