<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical sheet unit which suppresses a wrinkle and a flexion of an optical sheet, is easy to handle and can be simply incorporated in an apparatus and to provide an illuminator and a display apparatus using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The film-shaped optical sheet having light transmissivity is used. A light diffusion sheet 5<SB>1</SB>is laminated on a lens sheet 5<SB>2</SB>, the obtained laminate is covered with light transmissive laminated film 6<SB>1</SB>, 6<SB>2</SB>, to at least one surface of which a light diffusion function is added, and is integrated to form an optical sheet unit 5.
