PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide maternity wear designed so as not to chill a maternal body, easily put on or taken off, and free from limiting the variety of fashion property of a wearer. SOLUTION: The maternity wear has a laterally-set engaging member 2 having a first button 6 or the like each of which can be engaged with an opened waist part 11, a front-side covering member 3 having a covering member 13 which can cover a winding part 8 wound around the waist of a wearer and the laterally-set engaging member 2, and a vertically-set engaging member 4 including a strip-shaped member vertically arranged inside the front-side covering member 3 and provided with second button holes through which at least either one of the waist part 11 can be engaged; and also provided with an inside covering members 5 arranged at the wear's side inner than the laterally-set engaging member 2 and the vertically-set engaging member 4, and made of stretchable raw material.
