<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED backlight system capable of realizing of cost reduction by simplifying processes, and its initializing method. <P>SOLUTION: The LED backlight system is provided with LED backlights 2 structured of arranging a plurality of red, green and blue LED elements 1 respectively, selected and uniformalized colors and brightness beforehand, color sensors 3 each detecting the color and the brightness of the LED backlights 2, LED drivers 4A to 4C driving the LED elements 1 connected to the LED backlights 2, controllers 5 for controlling the LED drivers 4A to 4C, and memory means connected to the controllers 5. At the controllers 5, the LED backlights 2 are made to emit light under a prescribed condition at the time of initial loading of power of the LED backlights 2, detected values of the color sensors 3 at emission of light of the LED backlights 2 are stored on the memory means as target values of the color sensors 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
