PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool holder which has a tough connection structure appropriate to the strength of a base plate and a tool storage portion under the circumstances that a conventional tool holder rarely becomes unusable due to aged abrasion and deterioration of component members such as a base plate, a tool storage portion, and a hook portion onto a belt, but actually due to unreasonable push-in of tools, frequent and rough put-in/take-out of the tools, etc. , resulting in deterioration at a joint portion between a storage opening and the base plate, separation of the joint portion from a rivet, and raveling of a seam. SOLUTION: The new tool holder is produced by folding back an upper end of the base plate to a rear surface, securing the upper end to the base plate to form a belt insertion portion, arranging a curved wide plate body on a lower side of the base plate, and sewing and riveting the former and the latter together to form the tool storage portion. Then leather reinforcing plates are arranged at rivet mounting portions of both upper edges of the tool storage portion, so as to be astride front and rear surfaces of the base plate or so as be laid on the front and rear surfaces individually from each other.
