PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rush prevention device for a lorry capable of ensuring sufficient strength of a rush prevention member by making itself or one's own vehicle lighterweight and by a simple constitution and attaining further miniaturization by shortening the whole length of the own vehicle in working. SOLUTION: This rush prevention device 40A is provided on a load-carrying platform 3 and at its rear part, and has a rush prevention member for preventing rush from a rear side of the other vehicle or the like. Further, the device 40A is provided with a standing/falling switching mechanism capable of switching the rush prevention member 41 to respective attitude of falling attitude where it falls down along a back surface of the load-carrying platform 3 and standing attitude K where it is downwardly projected form the back surface of the load-carrying platform. When the load-carrying platform 3 is descended to a rear side of the own vehicle, this standing/falling switching mechanism positions the rush prevention member 41 in the falling attitude, and when the load-carrying platform 3 is stored, the mechanism can position the rush prevention member 41 in the standing attitude.
