PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately judge temperature abnormality in a piezoelectric actuator driving circuit 2a. SOLUTION: In the driving circuit 2a of a piezoelectric actuator, on the basis of the recovery charge amount QRET and discharge charge amount QOUT of a capacitor 30, the charge consumption rate QRST of the driving circuit 2a is obtained (S12). Then, whether or not the driving circuit 2a is in a temperature abnormal is judged on the basis of the charge consumption rate QRST (S17). Thus, even when the loss energy of the piezoelectric actuator is varied by a temperature, whether or not the driving circuit 2a is in a temperature abnormal is accurately judged.
