PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably supply power to a lifting magnet by reducing variation in the output voltage of a generator according to change in the rotational speed of the generator. SOLUTION: In this lifting magnet work machine, a lifting magnet powered by a generator 30 driven by the power of an engine is attached to the distal end of an arm. The generator 30 comprises a rotating shaft 34, a rotor 32 installed on the rotating shaft 34 rotatably with each other and having permanent magnets 35 with different magnetic poles alternately magnetized in the rotating direction, and a stator 33 having pole teeth corresponding to the rotor 30 and a field wiring 41.
