INFORMATION OFFERING SYSTEM AND METHOD USING VOICE RECOGNITION IN WIRELESS ENVIRONMENT

A system and a method for providing information in a radio environment using voice recognition are provided to recognize a voice effectively and provide requested information to terminals of users accurately. A voice processing unit(11) receives streaming voice data transmitted according to an information providing request from a user terminal and processes it to generate voice data. An EPD(End Point Detection) processing unit(12) detects an end point with respect to the generated voice data. A voice recognizing engine(13) performs voice recognition processing on the voice data based on the detected end point. A service controller(14) searches information corresponding to the voice recognition result and transmits it to a user terminal. Consultant terminals are divided into the first group terminal and the second group terminal, and a consultant management server(20) selects one of the first and second group terminals in order to respond to the information providing request from the user terminal.
