FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention concerns stylus focusing systems in computation systems with pen input. An input signal denoting proximity of stylus to the graphic tablet is received, stylus position against a set of user interface control elements at the screen is defined, the stylus is focused at a control element corresponding to a definite stylus position, data is received by graphic table area representing the given control element. Stylus focus can be supported separately from mouse and/or keyboard focus and/or simultaneously with it. Input data of several styluses can be received and used in stylus focusing against control elements corresponding to position of each stylus separately or simultaneously. ^ EFFECT: simple and reliable method of stylus focusing and data input in systems with pen devices. ^ 72 cl, 6 dwg |
