PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a geared transmission suppressing gear-meshing noises by reducing the waste energy loss caused by mixing fluid. SOLUTION: In the structure, gears 13c, 13d are passed through a through hole 36 and supported rotatably on a shaft 11 to which rotational force is transmitted. A plurality of oil seal members 37, 38 are disposed between the shaft 11 and the through-hole 36. Functional fluid 39 is filled in a space enclosed with the inside of the shaft 11, the inside of the through-hole 36, and the oil seal members 37, 38. Relative movement is suppressed between the shaft 11 and gears 13d, 13d by increasing the viscosity of the functional fluid 39 with an electric control means, if necessary, and the gear meshing noises are suppressed when the shaft 11 is rotationally driven by driving force changing in rotary angular speed.
